Mosley commits to Alabama

SAN ANTONIO - Of all the announcements at the U.S. Army All American Bowl on Saturday, that of Theodore, Ala. linebacker C.J. Mosley was probably the least dramatic and most predictable.
While the 6-foot-2, 212-pounder considered Auburn and other programs, there was little doubt that he was going to his long-time favorite all along - Alabama.

"My mother is very, very high on academics and she really likes what Alabama has to offer," said Mosley of his interest in the Tide. "Coach Saban went over again their academic plans for student athletes and how players learn time management skills and maximize the most out of their time. She really likes Coach Saban."
Mosley is ranked as the No. 6 outside linebacker in the country and is ranked as the No. 91 player overall. He took official visits to both Auburn and Alabama before making his final decision.
Theodore Head Coach Bill Meredith has many glowing things to say about his star player.
"He's a great kid and really smart and he'll go play in a hurry," he said. "Rolando (McClain) is probably going to leave and he can go in there and compete."
Mosley joins a 2010 Alabama recruiting class that is vying for a third straight mythical recruiting title.
