Morris almost commits

Highstown (N.J.) The Peddie School running back Taji Morris thought long and hard about committing on his official visit this weekend.
"BC was my leader going into my visit and I loved everything about it," said the 5-foot-11, 180-pounder who is being recruited by the Eagles as an athlete. "I really liked the campus even though I'd been there, I got to see more of it. The other recruits were great as well."

Morris also met plenty of BC players.
"They treated all of us like we were already on the team," he said. "Grant Adams was my host and I met a lot of different guys from Jersey. The coaches were cool to us as well and the food was awesome."
So why didn't he commit?
"My decision is really only a couple of weeks away so I figured I'd wait," he said. "I go to Lehigh next weekend with my brother (cornerback Bilal Morris and then I have Rutgers on Dec. 6. I'll probably decide the Monday after Rutgers."
And what kind of lead does BC have?
"There's like an 85-percent chance that I'll go to BC," he said. "Playing with my brother is the only thing that could really change my mind, but we both agreed we have to do what's right for each of us."
Bilal, Taji's brother, has an offer from Lehigh.
