Morrell considering prep route

Offensive tackle D.J. Morrell picked up an offer from Temple earlier in the recruiting process so there is little doubt that he could make it athletically at the Division I level.
The only questions concerning Morrell deal with academics. He has been putting a lot of time into preparing for his final run at the SAT, and on Saturday that test will largely determine his immediate future.

"Right now it's basically the same schools that are looking at me. I don't know if I should prep for a year or not. It depends on how the SAT goes tomorrow. I think I need to get about 40 points higher. If that happens then I'll be going Division I somewhere."
Morrell said he feels confident about his upcoming test but knows he will have another opportunity next year if things don't work out.
"I got a call from Iowa on Sunday," he said. "I've also been hearing from Boston College, UConn, Temple and Rutgers. It really all depends what happens. I'll know when I find out how I did on the test."
The 6-foot-6, 285-pound tackle is ranked the No. 10 prospect in Connecticut according to Rivals.com.
