Morrah still thinking of two schools

Claremont, Calif., defensive end Cameron Morrah has been quiet for the most part about recruiting since his last official visit, a trip to Cal. Now, the 6-foot-6, 235-pounder is nearing his final school choice and his coach thinks both schools are weighing heavily on the mind of the four-star prospect.
"Cameron has been getting a lot of advice from people close to him," Claremont coach Mike Collins said. "He has been thinking about what he wants to do for a long time. It is a tough decision for him as he thinks through everything he has seen and heard over the last couple of months."

Morrah's older brother, Eric, is a member of the Kansas State squad that Cameron committed to last spring. That tie to the Wildcats is a big factor according to Collins.
"Kansas State has a positive in their camp," Collins said. "His brother is there and they are close. Playing with him will keep him close to his brother and give him someone that is family around him for the next four or five years.
"Now, Cal, they are a little closer than Kansas State is to home. But, they are still a ways away. It isn't a short drive. It takes a plane flight to get there, unless you are in to driving a lot. It wouldn't be a quick drive home to see the parents from Cal. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't think the distance from home is going to be a factor."
Collins believes his standout player is leaning toward honoring his commitment to the Wildcats.
"I think he's leaning to Kansas State, but again, that is just my thoughts. I can't, and don't want to, put words in Cameron's mouth. That is purely my thoughts from the times I have spoken to Cameron and listening to him talk about what others are saying."
Collins thinks the final decision should come within the next seven days.
"Cameron has maintained that he wants to make a final choice at least a week before signing day. That is just next Wednesday, so I think sometime in the next seven days, you'll hear him say where he will continue his football career."
