Morgan wants the total package

Michael Morgan is a wanted man, and he loves ever minute of it. The four-star outside linebacker recruit is soaking up life as a blue-chip recruit, but he's also not letting it get to his head either. He's keeping his mind intensely focused on things on the field and last Thursday night he did his best to help his team out.
"I did alright," Morgan said. "I could have done better, I can always do better. I felt like they were running away from me most of the game. If I lined up on one side they'd audible and end up running to the other side. So it was frustrating me a little bit."

"I've been playing defensive end every year until this season. It's my first to play linebacker, so noticing improvements would be pretty difficult for me to say. I just feel better, all around."
With September 1 arriving on Thursday, Morgan said he knows his phone will be ringing off the hook. He does make some calls to coaches time to time, though, to help keep his relationship with them tight.
"I talked to Coach (Stan) Eggen at A&M the other day," Morgan said. "Our relationship is pretty close. I don't know about them being my leader because everyone is pretty much still in. A&M, Michigan, USC, Oklahoma, and Florida State are the five teams I'm looking at right now. I have offers from all of them.
"I'm still thinking about which schools I want to visit. Those five would be my visits right now, but I haven't scheduled any. Plus, you never know what will happen after I start talking to the coaches. Things can change."
Morgan has started to outline things that he wants in the perfect school.
"I want to find a school with good coaching, a good team, and a family environment," he said. "I just want a good, safe environment. Academics are pretty important to me, too. I'm looking for the total package, really."
