Morgan starts to take visits

Garner, N.C. athlete Tony Morgan is still favoring two schools. The 6-foot-0, 188-pounder is beginning to take visits. He's already visited one in-state school and plans to head a couple more places soon.
"I am planning to go down to South Carolina on an unofficial October 12th," he said. "I'm also trying to work in a visit to NC State somewhere in the future.

"As for officials, I'm going to start as soon as I get everything complete with the clearinghouse. I'll probably do some visits during and others after the season."
At this time, Morgan is favoring South Carolina and North Carolina.
"South Carolina has a lot of new recruits from 2007 in there and they are making some changes now that Steve Spurrier is on the team. They are an up and coming team," he stated. "North Carolina is the same way. They are a great school that is in-state and rebuilding. It's also not too far away from home."
Earlier this month, Morgan went to Greenville to watch East Carolina beat North Carolina.
"I took an unofficial for that game to watch them play," he said. "They beat North Carolina by a field goal. It was a pretty big upset. ECU fought hard until the end and I liked that a lot.
"It was real nice to see the coaches work and interact with the players on the field. I thought the coaches got the job done."
Meanwhile, the three-star prospect has helped his team to a 6-0 start.
"Our team is undefeated and we're getting ready for homecoming this weekend," he said. "I think our team is getting better each week and we learn from our mistakes. We go out and do what we have to in order to win.
"I think I've been doing great. Teams aren't testing me a lot, but I did get my first interception last game. I've also got two touchdowns on offense."
