Morgan plans to take official visits

Coatesville, Pa., defensive end Derrick Morgan has approximately 20 scholarship offers on the table. He hopes to narrow things down considerably by sometime in July.
"I have around 19 or 20 offers," Morgan said. "I'll probably have a top five by the middle of the summer."

Morgan mentioned some of the schools in the running.
"Penn State, Pitt, Miami, North Carolina State, Michigan, Boston College, those are some of them off the top of my head," Morgan said. "I've basically talked to all of them on the phone."
Camps are on Morgan's agenda.
"I plan to visit Pitt in early June," he said. "I'm going to North Carolina State's camp. And Penn State's camp."
But it looks like it's going to be awhile before Morgan selects a college.
"As I look at it right now, I'll probably wait and take all five official visits," Morgan said.
The 6-foot-4 and 260-pound Morgan helped lead his team to an 8-3 record during his junior season. He missed three games with a high ankle sprain, but still registered 10 sacks.
