Morgan hopes to decide soon

Rivals250 athlete Tony Morgan continues to hold five offers. However, plenty of colleges have come in this month to check out the 6-foot-0, 188-pound Garner, N.C. prospect.
"Everything is going pretty good," he said. "Colleges are coming by to check me out like Tennessee, East Carolina, Florida, NC State, North Carolina, Alabama and whole bunch of others. Recruiting is really picking up day by day.

"Most of them are just telling my coach that they want to see me at their camp, so I can check them out more. They say they like my film and they'll get in more detail about their interest when they see me in person."
Does Morgan have any camps planned?
"I plan on going to at least a few," he said. "I know I will be at North Carolina, NC State and East Carolina. There may be more too."
At this time, five schools have offered including North Carolina, South Carolina, East Carolina, Colorado and Clemson. With five offers, Morgan claims four schools are sticking out.
"My favorite is South Carolina and then North Carolina, behind them is North Carolina State and then East Carolina," he stated. "South Carolina is leading because they are an up and coming program and rebuilding. They get their best players from the area and have told me I could be a factor in their game plan. I think I could help them out a lot.
"Plus, Steve Spurrier is a good coach and they have one of my teammates, Chris Culliver. It would be great to play with him again too."
North Carolina isn't too far behind the Gamecocks. Morgan went into detail abut them as well.
"Carolina is there because they are very close to home," he said. "I like places that aren't too far away. I also like the coach Butch Davis is changing things around and looking for top players. I've always thought of them as a good school and liked them. They'll be one that sticks around throughout."
Clearly North Carolina and South Carolina are standing out, but is Morgan considering an early decision?
"I was thinking about waiting until after my senior year, but after talking to my coaches and family that might be too long," he said. "I'm thinking about doing it at the end of summer now and am starting to narrow things now in hopes of having it by then."
