Morgan adds Ohio State offer

Crete-Monee (Ill.) class of 2014 linebacker Nyles Morgan hit the double-digit mark on scholarship offers Monday afternoon with a new addition from the Ohio State Buckeyes. He talked about that offer shortly after receiving it.
"I finished with practice and my coach told me Coach [Mike] Vrabel called and they said they've offered a scholarship," Morgan said. "I would say that is pretty big because I have been expecting this one for a long time. Now that if finally came, I would say I am satisfied."

Morgan's recruitment with Ohio State started before his junior year began, and he made a summer visit to their Columbus campus.
"What I remember the most was the stadium," Morgan said. "The stadium really caught my eye."
Morgan's offer list now includes Illinois, Purdue, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, UCLA, Michigan State, Northwestern, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Ohio State.
"Later on in the year I want to explore more and maybe try to go out and see UCLA, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and possibly Florida," Morgan said.
Crete-Monee has posted a perfect 11-0 record and are entering the third round of the Illinois state playoffs. Morgan leads his team with 88 tackles and he has also tallied seven tackles for loss, two sacks and intercepted two passes.
