Moreno cancels trip to VT

Rumor has surfaced that Rivals100 running back Knowshon Moreno out of Middletown (N.J.) Middletown South has cancelled his official visit to Virginia Tech this weekend. Rivals caught up with Middletown South head coach Steve Antonucci to find out the latest on his star running back.
"It is true he has cancelled the official visit this weekend to Virginia Tech," he said. "He would have had to take one more math class to go there and decided he didn't want to do that. Now he's going to pick between Florida and Georgia."
Georgia appears to be the team to beat for the four-star running back, but last weekend Moreno went down to Gainesville.
"He didn't say much about the trip, but I know he really enjoyed his trip down there."
The 5-foot-11, 205-pounder expects to make his decision on Friday. Is Georgia still the leader in Antonucci's eyes.
"It looks that way, but it's going to be a tight race," he said. "We'll have to see where it goes from here."
Moreno finished his high school career as the New Jersey's all-time leading scorer scoring over 100 touchdowns. He also ran for over 5,500 yards.
