Morely picks up three huge offers

This is the time of year when a large number of prospects from Florida begin to enter the category of “big time status.” One who has already reached that level, Miami Killian cornerback Demetrice Morley, continues to pick up impressive offers.
“I recently have been offered by Miami, LSU and Oklahoma,” he said. “Those three offers are ones that I am really proud of. I mean when you think about great schools for defensive backs those are the first three that come to mind.”

Morley saw his stock soar at the Miami NIKE camp in early April and has not looked back. He measured in at 6-foot, 176 pounds and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds.
“My top five schools right now are Florida State, LSU, Miami, Oklahoma and NC State,” Morley said. “Right now I would say that LSU might be my leader, but I’m not real sure because I really like Florida State and Miami a lot too.”
This weekend Morley will attend camp at LSU and is also scheduled to attend camp at Florida on June 19, but is unsure if he will make it.
“Distance from home is one thing that is important to me,” Morley said. “I would really like to stay in Florida, but if the best place for me is out of state then that is what I will do. I would really like to play early also. My decision is going to be a family decision. My family is very important to me and I want them to help me make my choice.”
Last season the All-Dade County defensive back racked up nine interceptions and 10 pass break-ups playing free safety for Killian.
“Pretty much every school I have talked to has told me that they want me as a cornerback and not a safety,” Morley said. “All of my offers are as a corner. They have told me that they like me as a corner because of my speed.”
