More visits to come for Winston

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Sunday marked the first day of practices for the Under Armour All-America Game. Five-star dual-threat quarterback Jameis Winston from Hueytown (Ala.) said he is enjoying the experience, the competition, and the camaraderie.
"The main part is the college atmosphere," Winston said. "It is fun to hang around with these guys because this is our first college experience."

In early August, Winston pledged his services to Florida State. Since that time, Winston was direct and to the point after practice about where his commitment stands.
"I am firm," Winston said.
"I am confident in my decision right now," Winston added. "When I go back down there to Florida State hopefully I will get that same feeling."
Winston is still utilizing his official visits to make sure that he has picked the right college destination. He has already officially visited Alabama and LSU. He intends to use all five official visits before National Signing Day arrives. He explains his reasoning for the trips.
"This is going to be my life decision," Winston said. "I am going to be doing four years. I just want to make sure. When I went down to Florida State, I hadn't been on a lot of visits to other schools. So I just want to make sure I am at the right place."
As for his upcoming visits, he is still finalizing those plans.
"I plan on going to Stanford next week, on January 13th, Ohio State probably or Auburn, and you know I am going to Florida State for an official," Winston said.
At this time, Winston says the only definitive date planned is to Stanford.
