More than Smith in 09 at Armwood

SEFFNER, Fla.- In addition to All-State linebacker Petey Smith, Armwood High School has two more players who could emerge as Division I-A prospects for the Class of 2009.
Defensive end Ryne Giddins was a second-team All-Conference selection during his sophomore season when he rolled up 13 sacks. The 6-foot-4, 221-pounder has a good frame and build and could be in the 6-4, 250 range by the time he's a senior.

Giddins said that he has early interest in Florida State, Florida, Miami (Fla.) and Auburn.
Taking the reigns at quarterback next year for Armwood will be Mywan Jackson. The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder will make the transition from wide receiver where he caught 21 passes for 276 yards during his sophomore year.
"I think I will play receiver in college," he said.
Miami (Fla.) is the team that Jackson has the most early interest in. He has been timed as fast as 4.38 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Armwood High is coached by Sean Callahan.
