Miamisburg, Ohio, cornerback Chris Fobbs starts off the 2015 class rated three-stars. He already holds an offer from Toledo, and is receiving new interest following an impressive junior campaign.
"Indiana is getting there," Fobbs said. "They want to see how I am doing after the spring with academics. Coach [William] Inge, I like him very much. They like that I am long and am a good coverage corner."
Fobbs took in several college games during the fall, including one to Bloomington to see the Hoosiers play.
"I went to the Penn State-Indiana game," Fobbs said. "I like the homey-ness of their campus, their stadium and their crowd. I wasn't expecting that much tradition, but they had a lot of tradition."
Other schools that came in to see the 6-foot-1, 190-pound Fobbs following the season included Cincinnati, Indiana, Ohio State, Tennessee, Louisville and several MAC programs. Tennessee is another school Fobbs has felt strong interest from.
"Tennessee talked to me about coming down to their junior day and working out with them in the summer," Fobbs said. "My brother got recruited there and we had been to games there, so I know how it is down there. It is a great tradition."
As a cornerback for Miamisburg High this season, Fobbs tallied 26 tackles and four interceptions.
