More options arrive for Marshall

Two more offers are in the books for Austin (Texas) McCallum defensive tackle Broderick Marshall bringing his total to five.
Marshall now has more options to choose from and in the past there was an in-state favorite for the talented defensive lineman. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound native Texan still has that team in his top group but has added some more for a top three.

"I guess you could say it's Texas Tech, Arizona, and LSU right now," Marshall said. "Nebraska and Missouri are teams I'm interested in and they have great coaches and I'd play there, but I don't know how my mom would take that going so far away."
"It's my decision though, so it all depends on what I want to do."
While Marshall thinks about distance from home when making his decision he is also interested in seeing things for himself, first-hand on some visits. One visit is already shaping up.
"I know I'm going to Texas Tech for a visit," Marshall said. "I might go out to Arizona to check out the campus after I talk to my mom, but Tech I'm pretty sure about."
A camp schedule was also starting to take shape, but with a work schedule and summer school it may be impossible to fit it all in. He will be participating in a camp at his high school and is putting in heavy time in the weight room.
In fact all that hard work is towards one goal.
"It's going to be my best season yet this fall," he said. "Last season I didn't work out hard during the summer but now I'm working harder than ever. Even with work and school, I'm working so hopefully it will pay off."
