More offers on the way for Poston

Horsham (Pa.) Hatboro Horsham Senior offensive tackle Travis Poston has gone to a half dozen camps this summer. The 6-foot-6, 311-pounder continues to hold one scholarship, but believes more schools could be coming with offers soon.
"I've finished all my camps over the summer and my only offer still is Temple," he said. "I've got a couple other schools that say I'm the next guy on their list and that's pretty much it.

"I went to camps at West Virginia, Temple, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Boston College, Syracuse and NC State."
Who is close to offering?
"Rutgers told me I'm the next highest guy on their list," he said. "The coaches feel I could play there, they are just waiting on three other offers and if those players go elsewhere they'll offer.
"Boston College has kind of told me the same thing. They are saying be patient and it'll work out."
If those schools offer, how will that change the two-star prospect's recruitment?
"It would definitely mix things up," he said. "I like Rutgers and Boston College. Boston College has great academics and tradition while Rutgers has been hot lately.
"Right now Temple is my first offer and I'm really interested in them. If others offer I'll think about them too. Temple is only 30-40 minutes away and they are a rebuilding program. I think the coaches will make Temple dominate the MAC the next few years and they have nowhere to go but up."
As for a decision, Poston would like to do it soon.
"I'd like to finish it up as soon as possible," he stated. "I'll probably decide during the season. I want to take officials."
