Delray Beach, Fla. — Zay Flowers' offer list currently stands at two.

Bowling Green and Appalachian State have made things official with the Ft. Lauderdale University School two-way player. That will change in time, however, as Flowers is off to a blazing start as a junior.

On Friday he was the most impactful player on a field that featured a handful of 15-offer prospects, making plays on both offense and defense, including the game’s longest touchdown catch.

That’s all to say the two programs on his offer list may soon have company.

“I haven’t really talked to either of the schools [that have offered] yet," Flowers said. "They offered me through my coach, but I’m getting some mail from schools. I really want offers from Ohio State and Stanford. They aren’t talking to me yet, but those are the two I want.”

Flowers has exclusively been a wide receiver until this season, when he added cornerback to his resume. He intends to play offense in college, but it open to staying on defense if that’s what interested schools want.

For now, he’s just waiting for more of said interested schools to line up with scholarship offers.

“I’ve been getting some mail from Cincinnati, UCF, USF, Arkansas,” Flowers said. “They send stuff, but I haven’t talked to them.”

As for the offers he currently holds, Flowers intends to explore them. But that’s not to say there aren’t other schools that have his attention.

“I don’t really know much about Bowling Green or Appalachian State. I really want to go Pac 12. If not, I want to go to Miami. I’m going to look into those other schools, too.”
