Miami (Fla.) Coral Reef outside linebacker prospect Malcolm Munroe has picked up three additional offers, including a pair from BCS Conference programs in the Big Ten and Big East, respectively.
"I got offers from Indiana, Troy and Syracuse," he said. "Indiana sent one in the mail, Syracuse was on the phone right after practice and I got the offer from Troy by mail and text."
Previously, Clemson and UCF extended scholarship offers to the 6-4, 210-pounder. The Tigers and Golden Knights currently head his list of favorites.
"As of now, I would be favoring UCF and Clemson out of the people that have offered me," Munroe said. "But I'm interested in all schools in a way. Syracuse out of those three new offers would be the one I am interested the most right now."
Munroe believes that several programs are close to extending an offer.
"I feel like Buffalo, UConn and Georgia Tech are all fixing to offer," he said.
Several programs are coming down to check on Munroe at his school during the evaluation period.
"Clemson is coming down," he said. "That's what they've been talking about. Every school that is interested in me is coming down, really. I am getting a lot of text messages saying that they are. Duke hasn't been in the picture at all, but they came by on Friday."
Munroe, who has been timed as fast as 4.57 seconds in the 40-yard dash, is one of the top sleeper prospects in South Florida for the Class of 2008.
