More offers for Texas safety

Mister Alexander's stock continues to rise.
With one offer from Nebraska last week, Alexander – the cornerstone of Aldine (Texas) Eisenhower's 2006 class – has been offered Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, Houston, Oklahoma, Arizona, and Arizona State this week.

"I wouldn't mind going to Oklahoma," he said. "They've got great speed. I've been sitting out of spring drills because I qualified for regionals in track, so the coaches who have come through haven't really seen me play."
They must like what they see in Alexander (6-3, 195-pounds) without pads to offer on the spot. Alexander has reached regionals in the triple jump, which is keeping him out of spring drills.
His favorite?
"I really like Southern Cal," he said. "If they offer, I'd commit on the spot. I really like their offense and defense. I want to play safety for them."
