More offers for Stevens

Lexington, Ohio offensive lineman Marc Stevens already had a nice offer list that included teams like Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green and Western Michigan.
Well, now the 6-foot-6, 295-pounder has added even more offers from teams like Pitt, Central Michigan, Ohio, Marshall and Kent State.

"I've been hearing from most of the MAC schools," he said.
"I've got eight offers right now. I like them all right now. If I had to give a top three right now it would probably be Ohio, Bowling Green and Western Michigan. Just when I was at those schools, things just seemed to click."
But at this point, Stevens doesn't seem to be in rush to make a decision. Will fall practices already underway he said he's not sure what his timetable for a commitment will be.
"I'm more worried about my senior season now," he said. "But if something happens, then it does. I'll know when I know and when I get that special feeling about a school, then that'll be it."
Stevens said he's excited about the start of the 2007 season. It's his final year and after earning all-area honors in 2006, he hopes he and his teammates have a good year.
"I'm expecting a good season," he said. "The way we work and have come together as a team right now, we're like a big family. I expect a big season."
