More offers for Samuel

Three-star athlete Curtis Samuel of Brooklyn (N.Y.) Erasmus Hall Campus continues to reel in impressive offers, including two more recent big ones. He also made his way to New Jersey on Sunday for a NUC Showcase event, where he was able to show everyone why he is receiving the offers that he is.
"That was a good day," said Samuel, who is 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds. "I felt very comfortable running my routes and I felt great when the ball was coming to me. I felt that I had a good day."

Samuel also discussed why he chose to attend the event.
"I'm just coming out to get better, to see the talent and to compete," he said. "I just want to show my talents."
Samuel will also make his way to New Jersey on April 27th to participate at the Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour.
While Samuel lined up as a wide receiver on Sunday, he is also being recruited as a running back and defensive back by some schools. He was asked if he had a preference.
"I see myself as a running back who goes into the slot," he said. "A player that can do a whole bunch of things, like pitches, reverses and screens. That type of guy."
Samuel already had offers from schools like Ohio State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Virginia, Rutgers, Syracuse, Connecticut and Boston College, when he added two more recently.
"Recruiting is real good," he said. "I just picked up offers from USC and Miami. I'm pretty open right now though. I'm open to see any school to see where I want to go."
To this point, Samuel has taken one visit to Rutgers and has plans to visit Ohio State. Samuel recently spoke with Coach Urban Meyer, who compared him to Percy Harvin.
"That was a compliment coming from Coach Urban Meyer," said Samuel. "He's a great coach and he coached Percy Harvin very well. It's definitely a compliment."
Finally, when asked about a timetable for his final decision, he does not think he will stretch out his process. A decision in the beginning of his senior season is possible.
