More offers for Plattenburg

John Plattenburg keeps adding offers and since they're coming in so fast the Corona (Calif.) Centennial cornerback does not want to name any frontrunners yet.
Texas Tech, TCU, Ole Miss, Baylor and UCLA are the five latest offers for Plattenburg, who said he's especially looking into Baylor, UCLA and Vanderbilt in recent weeks since they're all new offers and there is interest in all those programs.

"Since they've been coming in I haven't named any favorites," Plattenburg said.
"It's still an open process and I'm seeing what everybody is talking about. I'm still trying to form relationships. I don't have any favorites. I'm just going with it right now and researching everybody."
The 5-foot-11, 187-pound prospect does not want to name leaders but the Bruins are receiving lots of interest.
Plattenburg was supposed to take an unofficial visit to UCLA this past weekend but that got postponed. He's hoping to re-schedule that trip for sometime this week.
"That's a big one," Plattenburg said. "They're especially high because they have great academics and they're putting some winning stuff together so that's a really big plus.
"The last few offers have come in as surprises. I was in contact with Texas Tech for a little but the others were surprises. It has all been a real surprise."
So far, Plattenburg has landed offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Boise State, Cal, Colorado, Colorado State, Ole Miss, Nevada, Oregon State, San Diego State, TCU, Texas Tech, UCLA, Utah, Vanderbilt, Washington, Washington State and Wisconsin.
The Corona Centennial standout said Alabama and Notre Dame have reached out recently and shown some interest but neither program has offered yet.
Since things have happened so fast in his recruitment, Plattenburg does not want to rush any decisions yet.
"I'm just waiting to see what else happens," he said.
