More offers for Miller

Denver (Colo.) Mullen dual-threat quarterback Jonny Miller has reeled in his third scholarship offer.
After picking up offers from Wisconsin and New Mexico State, the 6-foot-2, 205-pounder added a solid offer from a Big East program on Monday.

"All I can say is that Bob Casullo, the assistant head coach was at Mullen today and liked the way I threw," Miller said. "This is a really big offer for me."
Why is the offer from the Orange so big?
"I'm excited because my dad is from New York, so I have a lot of family in the Syracuse area," Miller said.
The Orange might have a lot of ground to make up. Wisconsin has been the leader in the clubhouse for quite some time, especially after he took an unofficial visit to Wisconsin in early April.
"Wisconsin offered me, so I made a trip to Madison with my parents and I was treated great," Miller said.
"Coach Beilema and coach Chryst were awesome. I haven't visited anywhere else, so right now they are still in the lead."
Syracuse might not be the last program to offer in the spring.
"A lot of coaches are coming to see me, including Nebraska, Georgia, Wake Forest, Kansas, Washington and many others who haven't given me their time frame yet," he said. "So I need to wait and see where I stand with everybody."
