More offers for Houston-area WR

Baytown (Texas) Lee wide receiver James Cleveland picked up one offer early in the spring from Kirk Ferentz's Iowa Hawkeyes. Now the talented Houston-area wide receiver has added three more scholarship offers.
"Iowa offered early on," the 6-foot-2, 180-pound Cleveland said. "Then in the last couple weeks, I have gotten offers from Houston, Utah and Arizona."

The phone at the Cleveland home has been ringing through the early portion of the month.
"I have gotten calls from coaches at Colorado, Oklahoma State and Utah," he said. "The coaches are just telling me about their schools and stuff. They tell me their camp dates and hope I can make it, that type of thing. I'm getting a lot of mail from Arkansas, Kansas State, Texas Tech and SMU.
"I'd like to hear more from Miami, Texas, Arkansas and Kansas State. They are all good programs with offenses that use the receivers well. They would all interest me quite a bit."
Cleveland plans on only one football camp this summer, at least at this time.
"I will be going to Iowa in the beginning of June for their camp. That's the only one, right now, that I am planning on."
Cleveland and his Gander teammates are currently going through spring practices.
"Our spring workouts are going well. We're getting better as a team, you can tell. Our quarterback, Jeremy Moses, will be a junior next year. He has a great arm and can really throw the ball. In the past we've had some mobile guys at Lee like Ell Roberson and Drew Tate. Ell was a runner and Drew was a scrambler, but Jeremy is more of pocket-type passer. He'll stand in there and throw the ball and take a hit."
