More offers for Colorado CB

Denver (Colo.) Mullen cornerback Grant Crunkleton continues to rack up scholarship offers as he shows his talents at different camps this summer.

“Grant has offers from Arizona State, Colorado, Kansas State and Oregon,” Mullen assistant coach Jeff Braun said. “He’s at the UCLA camp right now, so who knows what might come from that camp.”

The 6-foot, 170-pound Crunkleton has shown his skills previously at the K-State camp.

“He told me he did pretty good,” Braun said. “He is very talented and knows what he’s doing. As a cornerback, he is one of the better ones in this region and the offers he has and will have show that.”

Braun did not know if Crunkleton was favoring any school over the others.

“We’ll sit down with him at some point and talk things over with him. We’ll see where he sits at that point and try and help him with getting the information he needs to make a decision. I don’t know if he’s looking to have it done with before we play this fall or not. If he is sure of his choice, then he probably will go ahead, since there is no reason to wait if he’s sure. If he’s not sure, then we’ll tell him to wait until he is.”
