More offers for 2016 QB McIlwain

It seems like Brandon McIlwain is picking up a new offer every few days. The quarterback from Newtown (Pa.) Council Rock North is now up to 11 offers with the most recent offers coming from Miami, Virginia, Clemson and Auburn.
"Miami is a great school, with amazing tradition and they are in a very appealing area too," said the 6-foot-1, 195-pound McIlwain. "I have talked to coach Coley and coach Golden and they seem really cool and down to earth, it's going to be fun to keep building the relationship with them.

"Virginia is a really good school," he said. "They're very good academically and they have a good football team. I haven't seen their campus before but I have seen them play a little bit. I talked to coach Fairchild. I liked talking to him because he seemed very down-to-earth and very truthful.
"I know a good amount about Clemson." McIlwain said. "I've seen them play a lot. My uncle played football there and went on to the NFL and I have another uncle that went there. I saw them play at South Carolina last year. I liked the way Tajh Boyd played and I like the offense. They have a really explosive offense and I could see myself fitting in like Tajh Boyd did.
"Auburn has a really good offense, as we saw last year," he said. "They're really explosive and they have the quarterback run and pass."
McIlwain is visiting Temple this weekend. The Owls were the first school to offer McIlwain.
He added that Michigan State could be the next to offer.
