More offers for 2015 R100 DE Wilkins

New England usually does not have many BCS caliber players. Christian Wilkins is not only one of the best players in the Northeast, but one of the best in the nation and close to 20 teams know it.
"Pittsburgh and Tennessee were my last offers," said the 6-foot-4, 295-pound Wilkins. "I don't know much about Pittsburgh. I do know they have one of the best defensive linemen in the country.

"Tennessee is in the SEC," he said. "I know that's one of the best conferences in the country."
Schools like Clemson, Florida State, Penn State and many others have already offered Wilkins.
"I would say I have good relationships with coach Dudzinski from Maryland, coach Vrabel from Ohio State and coach Frank Leonard from Boston College," Wilkins said. "Ohio State has obviously been doing really well. They are one of the better teams in the nation.
"I feel like Maryland is a younger team on the rise," he said. "They are a team with a lot to offer.
"Boston College has done well this year," said Wilkins. "They are only like an hour and a half from my house."
Wilkins is the No. 43 player in the 2015 Rivals100.
