More offers coming in for WA receiver

Lakewood (Wash.) Lakes athlete Jermaine Kearse has seen his stock skyrocket in recent weeks. Although we had previously thought of Kearse as a defensive back prospect, he worked out with the receivers at the NIKE Camp in Oregon and performed very well.
Kearse, 6-0, 170 pounds shows up well on both sides of the ball but said he's being recruited as a receiver and that's where he worked out in Eugene. Kearse has good size and speed, and although he needs some work on his route running, his athleticism was apparent to everyone.

Kearse had early offers from Washington and Washington State and you can now add several more to his list.
"I have also been offered by Cal, Oregon, Oregon State and Colorado," Kearse said. "All of those schools like me for receiver although a few mentioned they want me as an athlete. I think I could play safety in college as well but I like receiver and I think that's where I'm best suited for.
"I'm still open to all the schools recruiting me but I like all the schools that have offered me. Oregon, Cal, Washington, Washington State and Arizona State would be my top five but I want to take all my trips and I'm not in any hurry to make a commitment anywhere right now."
