More offers coming in for Pendergast

One of the top teams in the state next year will Anaheim (Calif.) Servite who looks loaded on both sides of the ball. One of the leaders on the offensive side of the ball is Garett Pendergast, one of the state's top offensive lineman who has a handful of scholarship offers right now.
Pendergast, 6-4, 275 pound was an all-league selection a year ago and will compete for all-state honors this season. He plays guard for the Friars and that looks like his best college position as well. Pendergast is a tough, physical player who just mauls opposing linemen at the high school level.

On the recruiting front, Washington was the first school to offer Pendergast back in March and a few others have since followed suit.
Utah, Nevada, Colorado State and a couple of other schools that I can't remember have all offered," Pendergast said. "Boston College sounds like they're close to offering and I'm also hearing from Cal, Boise State, Arizona and Arizona State.
"Right now, I'm just enjoying the process and I'm not close to narrowing my list down or anything. I couldn't even tell you who my top five schools are right now. I know I want to take in a game during the season at Cal and Boise State and I also want to take all of my official visits but I really don't know where I would visit right now.
"I would like to stay in-state to play my college ball or at least close to home on the West Coast. I like the idea of getting away from home, but still being close enough to come home when I want to. I also plan to major in Business so that will play a role as well as playing for a program that has a chance to win."
