More offers coming for Ude

Russell Ude already has more than a dozen offers. Many more could be on the way.
The Atlanta (Ga.) Westminster four-star defensive end said last week at the Under Armour Junior Combine that UCLA, North Carolina, Oregon, Stanford, USC, Michigan, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Florida, Georgia and Ohio State are all now involved and many could offer soon.

The 6-foot-3, 251-pound prospect who's rated as the seventh-best strong-side defensive end and No. 76 in the 2015 class by Rivals.com isn't giving too many hints about favorites yet. He wants to wait until all the offers come in and then figure things out.
Of the schools that have offered, a handful stand out but Ude isn't giving away any secrets.
"It's still too early but I want to get this done as soon as possible," Ude said. "I know I want to commit either at The Opening or the Under Armour game.
"Out of the offers I have right now I have a lot of interest in four or five of those schools. I can't let you know that yet. I have to wait until some other schools come out of the woodwork. I haven't taken nearly enough visits so I have to get out to some more schools and check those out."
Ude has already been offered by Boston College, Cal, Duke, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Miami, Michigan State, Mississippi State, NC State, Northwestern, Syracuse, TCU, Vanderbilt, Virginia and West Virginia.
With so many offers probably still coming, Ude wants to wait. At the same time, getting his recruitment wrapped up seems appealing.
"After the bowl season is over I'm sure more offers will come in," Ude said. "It's hectic and I don't like having to think about it. I like to focus on myself as a football player instead of worrying about recruiting so I can go prove myself and help my teammates."
