More offers coming for Powell
Chesapeake (Va.) Great Bridge wide receiver Carvin Powell added his third offer not too long ago. The 6-foot-2, 199-pounder believes more schools could be offering in the near future.
"I've got three offers now from Army, ECU and Ball State," he said. "I got Ball State recently.

"This week I'm also going to West Virginia. I think they may offer me. They want me to meet the defensive back coach. They like how I'm rangy and have speed. Coach Beatty said if everything goes well they'll offer me."
Powell believes the same could be said for other schools.
"I'm looking at going to NC State and North Carolina. They both want to see me in person. I may take a visit to Penn State since they are interested and Virginia Tech is a possibility too."
Does Powell like anybody?
"Right now I'm favoring the two Carolina schools and West Virginia."
