More offers coming for Grosso

Offensive tackle Anthony Grosso out of Matawan, N.J. recently made a trip down to the Sunshine State. The 6-foot-6, 264-pounder had a good visit to Gainesville and is hoping for an offer.
"I got back a couple weeks ago and it was a good unofficial visit," he said. "They showed me around the place and I got to meet a few guys and I had an academic meeting. I mainly spent time with the offensive line coach, but I was also able to meet coach Meyer. Overall I can say it was a very good visit and I really enjoyed myself. As for an offer, they told me they are interested but want to see senior tape to see how I'm producing this season."

Lots of other schools are interested in the two-star lineman too.
"Virginia I think is very close to offering. They are waiting on a few guys to see what they do and then they'll likely offer me," he said. "I'm also supposed to send senior tape to Notre Dame, Michigan State, Maryland, Michigan, Purdue and Penn State."
At the moment, Grosso claims to have no favorites.
"It's tough to say right now, but I definitely do like the schools that have offered. I'd say they have an upper hand," he said. "I'm definitely looking at officials with those schools that have offered and then whoever comes through in the first few weeks."
Currently Grosso is sitting on offers from Duke, Vanderbilt, Temple and Cincinnati.
As for a decision, the No. 29 player in the Garden State wants to do it soon.
"Personally I'd like to get it done in the first few weeks of the season so I can move on from there," he said. "If it doesn't work out then I'll wait and take all my officials, but we'll see."
