More offers coming for Baker

Mike Baker has a long list of favorites and the Fresno (Calif.) Central East pro-style quarterback said if any of those schools offer he would seriously consider committing and get things finished before his senior season starts.
If none of those teams offer, then Baker said he would be willing to wait through the season and see where he stands closer to National Signing Day.

"I'm just going to wait it out and get a couple more offers and see what I want," Baker said. "Then I'm going to take a couple more visits and make my decision."
Arizona State, UCLA, USC, Fresno State, North Carolina and Washington are the favorites for Baker, who threw for 2,651 yards with 25 touchdowns and six interceptions in his junior season. San Diego State is the only school to offer so far.
"If it's one of the main ones that I want out of the schools that I just named I'm going to do it right now but if not I'm going to wait through my senior year and remain patient," Baker said.
The Fresno prospect was one of the top quarterbacks at last weekend's Elite 11 regional workout at Stanford along with Zach Kline, Jake Rodrigues and some others.
He showed off a strong arm, was consistent and made all the throws during the session. Getting more offers would not be a surprise at all.
"I was happy with everything that I did," Baker said. "The accuracy contest didn't go as well as I thought it could but I was happy with how I performed."
Baker has already visited Fresno State, Cal, USC, UCLA, Arizona and Arizona State and he's going to take a trip to Washington soon. After that visit, Baker will reevaluate where his recruitment stands and see if he's ready to make his decision or not.
