More offers after Nike

Athlete Davon Morgan out of Richmond (Va.) Varina still holds two offers from Michigan and Virginia Tech. The 6-foot-0, 188-pounder recently attended the Nike Camp at Penn State to improve his stock even more.
"I went there as a defensive back and all the drills we did there I do with my coach. I felt like I did well against the best of the best out there," he said. "The experience at Nike really built up my confidence and I only gave up a couple passes during the entire one-on-one drills. I felt like I completely shut down a couple of the receivers.

"I also think I impressed a lot of the coaches that attended. I think I particularly showed them that I'm a great leader. The group I was in was pretty quiet, but I was the vocal one out there and tried to push everybody."
Since the Nike Camp, Morgan has seen interest pick up from a few schools.
"I think Florida and Tennessee are very interested right now," he said. "I know my coaches have also received a lot of interest from a few schools including Colorado, Notre Dame and others."
At this time, the Commonwealth prospect claims to have no leaders.
"I'm basically wide open just looking for somewhere that'll be like home for me and I also want a school that I'll find playing time," he said. "I am looking forward to getting an education too. I'm not just all about football. I want to get a good degree from somewhere that will challenge me."
Morgan is hoping to make a trip to Knoxville this summer for the Tennessee camp. He plans to attend a team camp at West Virginia too.
