Stanley Norman is stuck at seven offers, but so many programs have reached out and sent a bunch of recruiting mail, there's a good chance things could pick up soon.
The 2015 athlete from Culver City, Calif., who won the offensive MVP at the Rivals.com Underclassmen Challenge presented by Under Armour this summer in Dallas, said Cal, Colorado and Arizona could all be close to offering.
"Recruiting has picked up a little bit," Norman said. "Cal has been interested in me a lot. Colorado came back up to see me and Arizona is really interested in me a lot. They've been talking to me a lot.
"We haven't really talked about a particular position, but I think they're going to bring me in as an athlete. I think I'm close to offers with Cal and Colorado. The Arizona offer should be coming in soon. I haven't talked to anybody personally ye,t but they've sent me 80 letters in one day and they were all hand-written."
Norman will visit Arizona State for the USC game in two weeks and he's excited about it. He has been talking a lot with the ASU coaches and that's a chance to land another offer. The Trojans have already offered the Culver City standout, who could play wide receiver or cornerback.
"I am looking forward to it," Norman said. "The ASU coaches like me, so me and a couple other players from my school will be going up there."
More interest is also coming in for Norman, an early four-star by Rivals.com. He said Washington State, Alabama, Miami, Notre Dame, Indiana, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Washington, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Boise State have all reached out.
So far, Norman has been offered by Akron, Marshall, San Jose State, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington State.
