More interest for Parkinson

Colby Parkinson is just getting started with the recruiting process but the 2017 four-star tight end has already landed a few offers and some teams are showing interest.
It could pick up quickly for the Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian standout once his junior season gets underway.

So far, Tennessee, Washington and Washington State have offered.
"It's mellowed out pretty much over the last couple weeks," Parkinson said. "It's still Washington, Washington State and Tennessee and then USC and UCLA are showing some interest. They haven't really pushed that much yet.
"I went to USC for a visit, a while back during the spring, and they said they want to see me run around and then they'll make their decision. It's the same thing with UCLA and they said they could be an early offer depending on how I do my junior season."
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound prospect has not taken many visits yet - he hasn't even seen any of the three schools that have offered - but that will change this week.
Because he's headed to the state of Oregon for a family wedding, Parkinson is going to take advantage and see four Pac-12 programs.
It could be the start of something big.
"I'm going up to Stanford, I'm going to Cal, Oregon and Oregon State because I'm going to a family wedding up in Oregon so I'm going to hit those schools," Parkinson said.
Over the last few months, coaches from Cal and Oregon State stopped by an Oaks Christian practice and according to a teammate the Beavers like Parkinson a lot early on. The four-star called a visit to Stanford "really cool" and said it was a dream of his to even be able to take a trip there.
