More interest coming for MDs Brooks

Germantown (Md.) Seneca Valley linebacker Jourdon Brooks is has a handful of offers from Connecticut, Temple, Syracuse and others. The 6-foot-1, 247-pounder is starting to pick up interest from a variety of other schools.
"The most recent school to get in touch in the last couple weeks has been Oklahoma," he said. "The coach from there said he loves me and wants me to visit with my friend Donald Langley. He told me that it's likely they'll be offering once he see my transcript. I like Oklahoma's program. They are real good and I would be interested in going to see it."

Other schools picking up for the three-star prospect include Tennessee, Virginia and Maryland.
"They are all looking hard and will probably offer me too once my coach sends out my transcripts."
Brooks has begun to think about official visits.
"I am considering one to Tennessee along with Syracuse and Oklahoma," he said. "I'm looking at those because they are all big name schools. I have been to Syracuse and Tennessee before for camps and liked them both. I'd like to go back and meet the coaches there and get to know them more. As for Oklahoma, I'm very interested in getting down there."
The No. 14 player in Maryland believes most of his visits will take place during the season.
"I'm going to probably do them during the year and then decide close to the end of the season."
