More from Marshall

When Kansas State landed two commitments last week from players at Ft. Bend (Texas) Marshall it was already clear it was about to be a banner year for the school in suburban Houston.
But when Marshall assistant head coach Michael O'Guin said the cupboard is hardly bare after that, you know it's going to be a special year for the Buffaloes.

O'Guin said there are at least two other sure-fire Division I prospects, plus a few others that could get offers later in the recruiting process.
O'Guin was especially excited about linebacker Justin Adams, a 5-foot-11, 237-pound tackling machine with 4.58-second speed in the 40-yard dash.
"He has a really good motor and he's always around the football," O'Guin said about Adams. "He's going to have a very good senior season for us, and he has some pretty big expectations. We expect him to be a very good football player and a team leader for us."
O'Guin said Adams already has picked up scholarship offers from UTEP and New Mexico.
The other lock for D-I is defensive end/outside linebacker Anthony Green.
Green is 6-foot and 220 pounds and timed at 4.63 in recent team testing at the high school. He's already picked up early offers from Mississippi State and UTEP.
"Anthony is getting better and better," O'Guin said. "He's working hard and knows he's not a finished product yet, but by the time he's ready for college he could be a really good pickup for somebody."
Right now, Green appears to be leaning toward Mississippi State.
"They offered him orally last week," the assistant coach said. "We're just now waiting on the paper work. If that's a good early offer he feels good about, he'll probably then go ahead and commit to Mississippi State unless somebody else he likes offers."
