More big offers for Winston

To West Helena (Ark.) Central cornerback Darius Winston, his recruitment may be behind him but to college coaches around the country, things are just getting started. Winston committed to his homestate school of Arkansas in early February yet he continues to garner major offers on a weekly basis.
"Very recently I picked up offers from Miami, Auburn and LSU," Winston said. "Miami was my dream school when I was younger. I wanted to play for Miami but when I grew older I was also crazy about Arkansas. I like the LSU tradition. They win championships."

The attention from such highly touted programs continues to be a flattering experience for the young man and to some extent a surprise.
"It makes me feel good because all these coaches like what they see on film and want me to see them," he said. "It's kind of a surprise. I never thought it would be like this."
All of the offers that are coming in are doing nothing but motivating the athletic cornerback prospect.
"It motivates me," he said. "Now that they're getting me the opportunities I've got to work twice as hard as hard to prove them right."
Despite the interest from a childhood favorite, Winston's commitment to the Razorbacks is very solid, but he has stated that the process will be a long one.
"Right now my commitment is solid," he said. "But like I said, it's a long time until signing day."
