Donavin Buck has been receiving large amounts of recruiting mail throughout his junior season and now that it's complete the Brawley (Calif.) Brawley Union outside linebacker hopes it picks up even more.
"It's been pretty busy," Buck said. "It's getting a lot busier than it was at the beginning. I'm getting a lot of stuff from different colleges."
The list is extensive and pretty impressive for Buck, who said Washington, Washington State, Oregon State, San Diego State, Notre Dame, Georgia, Florida State, Duke and Oklahoma have all been sending correspondence.
San Diego State is Buck's first offer but he hopes after a busy off-season of unofficial visits and camp performances that he'll land some more offers heading into his senior season.
The preliminary plan is to take some unofficial visits - Buck is looking at San Diego State and UCLA - and then attend as many camps as possible to gain exposure.
If he does well at numerous camps, Buck hopes the offers will start coming in or at the very least the big-time programs recruiting him will continue to show more interest.
"I'm probably going to attend a lot of camps from schools where I'm getting interest," Buck said.
"I want to keep going to camps and working out and getting offers from some more schools."
A lot of interest is already coming in but after attending the USC-UCLA game earlier this season, Buck said the Bruins stand out in his recruitment early on.
The communication has been limited with UCLA so far but Buck hopes this off-season he can start receiving more attention.
