Moosman will make unofficial this weekend

Libertyville, Ill. four star ranked offensive guard prospect David Moosman (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) is looking forward to the start of the IHSA state playoffs this week, and Moosman is also looking forward to making an unofficial visit to Ann Arbor, Michigan to check out Michigan State/Michigan game this coming Saturday.
"I've got a pretty exciting weekend coming up this week," David Moosman said. "We're starting the state playoffs this Friday against Mundelein, and then on Saturday I'm heading out to see the Michigan State/Michigan game in Ann Arbor."

Moosman has been giving his final college choices plenty of thought these days.
"I'm definitely giving each school more and more thought these days. I've been talking to some people who's opinion I trust, and between that plus looking into all of the important parts that go into making a final college choice, it's been on my mind more and more lately. I'm just going to keep looking at my options and I'm sure I'll be able to sort it all out."
Moosman also is looking to take one additional step this fall.
"Last year we made it to the Class 7A state title game but lost in overtime. I really want to be able to take the next step this year and win the Class 7A state title. I think we have the type of team that can do it this year. I'm really ready to start the playoffs on Friday."
Yet with all of the additional pressure of the playoffs as well as his recruiting process, Moosman knows when it's time to just goof off and be a kid.
"I was just trying to see how many grapes I could fit into my mouth before you called. I guess I just like to do some strange things like that, and I guess it's a way for me to relax and to just stay loose. I also was able to fit 45 grapes in my mouth at one time. I think that's my all-time record."
