Moosman looks towards semifinals

Libertyville, Ill. four star ranked offensive guard prospect David Moosman (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) is getting pretty excited about being just one win away from making a return engagement to the Class 7A state title game in Champaign. Moosman and the Wildcats lost an overtime thrilled last year in the state title game.
"It's playoff time and it's getting to be really exciting," Moosman said. "We played a pretty good game against Glenbrook North (28-14 win), and we gained over 400 yards rushing in the game. The Mules (the nickname for the offensive line at Libertyville) were definitely getting out and muling on Saturday night."

"We were able to really ball control for that game. I really felt that the score didn't indicate how much we controlled the line of scrimmage. They (Glenbrook North) had to throw for a ton of yards, and they scored on two big plays. They probably threw for more yards than they wanted to against us. As an offensive line, out goal is to not let the punting team to get on the field, and we also don't want to allow any sacks. The rushing yards are a big plus, but if we accomplish our other goals that we set we'll be winning games."
Moosman will also make an unofficial visit to Iowa this weekend.
"We play Rolling Meadows in the semifinals on Friday night at home, so I'm going to check out the Wisconsin/Iowa game in Iowa City on Saturday. I've been wanting to get in an Iowa game all season, and now I'll get a chance this weekend."
Moosman has official visits set for Wisconsin on December 3rd, Michigan on December 10th, Iowa on December 17th and Notre Dame on January 15th.
