Moorman talks Michigan State visit

Northville, Mich., offensive tackle David Moorman took time out of his mid-week schedule to travel up to East Lansing and see a Michigan State bowl practice and basketball game.
"There were about 10-15 of us and we all got there early to watch practice, meet with the coaches and go to the film room," Moorman said. "We then took a bus over and watched the basketball game. It was a really fun time."

Moorman has made several visits to East Lansing over the last few months and attended multiple Michigan State home football games. His experience on Wednesday, though, was different than his previous visits.
"Any time you get to watch a practice for a Big Ten Championship, that's huge. It's something not many people get to do," Moorman said. "It was just cool being able to meet with the coaches and talk with them and the basketball game itself was awesome, so I got a lot out of it."
The 6-foot-6, 285-pound Moorman has already accumulated five scholarship offers, and feels Michigan State could be close to joining that list.
"They are definitely really interested in me and I am high on their list," Moorman said. "They're patient when it comes to offering linemen. They told me to be patient, I'm one of their guys and when the right times comes they'll be ready [to offer].
"We have a really good relationship and will keep building it, then hopefully an offer will come maybe this winter. "
Moorman is not yet sure what his immediate reaction would be to a Michigan State offer, but he is taking each step of the process as it comes.
"Right now there is no rush. Every offer that comes in I am evaluating," Moorman said. "I don't really know what will happen when it comes to committing. I'm just going to weight out all my options and hopefully find the best school. But if Michigan State offers me I will highly consider them."
It has also been a busy week for Moorman at his school, with Pitt, Western Michigan and Central Michigan coaches all coming by on Monday and more expected on Friday.
