Moore whittles favorites down

Pearland, Texas, heat-seeking missile Quinton Moore has whittled away at his dozen-plus offers to name a few favorites.
Moore, a first-team, all-district selection last season, has been offered by Oklahoma State, Arizona, Pittsburgh, Houston, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Kansas, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Baylor, Arizona State and Missouri just to name a few.

Who sticks out in the cornerback his mind?
“If I had to name a leader it would be Oklahoma State and Arizona right now,” Moore, who is 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, said. “I like Arizona because I think they are a good fit for me defensively, and that is pretty attractive. I like that they are doing it with Texas guys also.
“Most schools are projecting me at corner and some want to move me to safety. It doesn’t matter much to me once I get where I am going. Whatever gets me on the field first.”
One school Moore has researched and would consider a favorite is LSU, which has yet to offer.
“I’ve learned a lot about the school and I’m surprised they haven’t offered,” he said. “I’d really like to go there. Outside of them, I’m pretty satisfied how the recruiting process has gone.”
