Moore still not ready to name five

Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County defensive end Kyle Moorehas been laying low for the latter part of the summer. Rivals.com caught up with the nation’s No. 41 player to see how things have been.
“We have already played our first game,” Moore said. “We tied the game 10-10 with Warner Robins. It was a non-region game so we were able to tie. The other team’s coach had decided we would go into overtime if we tied, but something happened and the game ended.”

The 6-foot-6, 247-pound Moore, who ran the 40-yard dash in 4.73 seconds at the NIKE camp in Atlanta had an impressive showing in the game.
“They ran 24 offensive plays in the game, not counting punts,” Moore said. “I had nine solo tackles, three assists, five of my tackles were for loss and I blocked a field goal. I am up to 26 offers with my newest one being from USC.”
Even though he was consistently ran away from by opposing offenses, Moore still collected 89 tackles, 21 assists, 15 sacks, numerous pressures and recovered four fumbles as a junior.
“My top schools right now are USC, Michigan, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Miami,” Moore said. “At one time I would have said that Georgia was my leader, now I would say that they are all even.”
When can we expect to see the list whittled to five?
“My coach asked me today about my official visits and if I had set any of them up,” Moore said. “I will probably have a top five in about a month and I will set up official visits to all five of those schools.”
