Moore scheduling visits

Lafayette (La.) Acadiana outside linebacker Kevin Moore has a top five, and two official visits already planned. A third official visit is also in the planning stages.

THE LATEST: Moore has scheduled visits to Texas Tech (Sept. 4) and Arizona State (Oct. 29), and he plans to schedule an official visit to Oklahoma State. His top five is rounded out by Louisiana-Lafayette and Texas. The Longhorns have not extended an offer at this time, but he did take an unofficial visit to Texas this summer and keeps in consistent contact with defensive line coach Brick Haley.

IN HIS WORDS: "My best relationship with a coach would have to be with coach Curtis from Tech. He's just amazing. I think he's a great recruiter and he has a great personality overall."

RIVALS' REACTION: Moore has not declared a favorite out of his top five and he does not have a timetable in mind for his college commitment. However, coach Kevin Curtis has established the strongest bond of all the college coaches right now and that is always a good place to start. His official visit to Lubbock certainly seems like it could put the Red Raiders in the driver's seat for his college commitment.
