Moore plans to decide soon

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School three-star outside linebacker Skai Moore recently took a visit to check out Vanderbilt.
"It was a great visit," Moore said. "I enjoyed it a lot. I liked seeing the facilities and having an opportunity to meet the whole coaching staff and some of the players. I also liked getting the opportunity to see the university for myself. Overall, it was a great visit."

The Commodore's coaching staff made a strong impression upon the 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker.
"They are definitely a fired up staff," Moore said. "When I walked in, they greeted me with open arms. They seemed very excited for me to be there."
James Franklin and his staff like the versatility that Moore brings to the defense. They are recruiting him for a unique position in their defense.
"They are recruiting me as the 'star' position," Moore said. "I would basically be a linebacker hybrid that would play some safety. That is similar to what I do now. I feel like I can make a lot of plays there. It is a great opportunity if I choose to go there."
Prior to visiting Vanderbilt, Moore visited Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights join Vanderbilt as one of Moore's two favorite schools at this time. He talked about what stood out about Kyle Flood's program.
"They seemed like really genuine people," Moore said. "They emphasized family a lot. They also emphasized school a lot. They just seemed a lot like University School. They are recruiting me as a Will (linebacker). They said they would use me like Khaseem Greene, which is good, because he won player of the year (in the Big East) last year. I am really excited about that."
With having taken visits to both of his favorites, the South Florida defender is turning his attention towards a decision.
"I am definitely going to try to make my decision before my season starts," Moore said.
The recent visits to Vanderbilt and Rutgers have made it complicated for the talented defender to select just one of them.
"Honestly, I feel like it is going to make my decision a lot harder," Moore said. "Both coaching staffs seem like very genuine people. Both groups of players brought me in and made me feel like I am one of them. They have very similar facilities and everything. It is going to make my decision a lot harder.
"Both universities are great," Moore added. "They are pretty even right now.
While Rutgers and Vanderbilt are Moore's top two, he is also considering South Florida and Wake Forest. He has previously visited the Bulls and hopes to see the Demon Deacons before he makes his announcement.
