Moore has visits on tap, hopes for in-state offer

C.J. Moore ()

Four-star wide receiver C.J. Moore has a distinguished, though short, list of scholarship offers. Georgia has offered, as has Texas A&M. Oklahoma State and a few others have made things official as well. He’s certain other schools will get involved with time, but, for now, the Oklahoma-based prospect’s mind is on hitting the road for unofficial visits.

“I’ll be at Georgia next week,” Moore said. “The week after that, I’m visiting UCLA and USC.”

But while Moore plans to visit plenty of colleges in the year ahead, he’s unlikely to work out at camps. The class-of-2018 receiver has a personal policy when it comes to that. His reasoning is based in logic.

“I don’t do many school camps because I don’t want one bad thing on one bad day at a camp to hurt me," Moore said. "I want to show what I can do on film.”

The 6-foot-5 Moore attends powerhouse Union High School in Tulsa, Okla.

IN HIS WORDS: “I want Oklahoma for sure," Moore said. "I want that offer. Then, I want Florida State and Alabama."

RIVALS REACTION: Oklahoma is yet to offer Moore, and it seems as though the Sooners hold a trump card of sorts. If OU offers, it will certainly be in the mix and may become the frontrunner. Otherwise, projecting Moore’s landing spot is difficult at this juncture.
