Moore attracting college attention

Clarksville, Texas wide receiver Gary Moore has been a standout on both the football field and the basketball court over the years, and at 6-5, 217 pounds he is hard to miss making plays.
College coaches have taken interest and Moore says a few schools have extended offers his way.
"My recruiting picture is TCU and Arkansas St. and Tulsa too," Moore said. "Arkansas St. has offered and UTSA has offered me too."

Moore plans to take a visit to TCU later this fall and also mentioned a possible visit to North Texas in December. He does not have a visit scheduled right now but there is one school he has always liked.
"I really want to go to TCU. I always wanted to play there," he said. "That's been my team since I was little. I said if I'm able to go to college that's where I want to go."
As a junior, Moore was named all-state and all-district after recording 850 receiving yards and 10 TDs on offense, and 78 tackles and 2 more TDs on defense. College programs have taken an interest in Moore at a few positions on the gridiron.
"Arkansas St. is looking for me as a tight end, and TCU is looking at me as a receiver and Tulsa too," Moore said.
Moore and Clarksville are off to a 1-1 start in 2012. Moore has recorded 5 receptions for 180 yards and 4 TDs on offense, and 20 tackles and a fumble recovery on defense.
