Moore alters plans

Bastrop (La.) three-star linebacker Travez Moore named a top three in August and began making plans to announce a college commitment in October. However, he has decided to alter his announcement plans, and take a little more time to make his decision.
"I talked to my parents and I told them I wanted to commit October 30," Moore said. "But my father said I shouldn't do that and to wait a little longer. I didn't want to wait but he told me to wait so I'm going to wait a little longer to make my decision."

Announcement plans may be delayed, but he does have plans in mind.
"It's going to be after the season," Moore said. "It's going to be in December. I'm going to make my decision in December and I talked to my parents about it and they say that's fine."
His top three of TCU, LSU, and South Carolina remains the same, and he admits the Horned Frogs continue to hold a slight edge. Of his three standouts, one program has shown more attention than the others.
"TCU, they're really bringing the heat now," Moore said. "They're really recruiting me hard. I get a letter from them every day in the mail. They're really bringing it so I would say they're recruiting me the hardest out of those schools."
Illinois has also recently increased interest. The Illini have not offered but the two parties have been getting to know each other.
He plans to visit TCU in January and it appears his official visit to South Carolina will also have to wait until January. The two visits are the only official visits Moore plans to make since he already knows LSU so well. However, he does plan to take his first unofficial visit of the season to the LSU-Florida game.
Moore is currently ranked No. 42 among the nation's 2016 outside linebackers and No. 26 in the Rivals.com Louisiana Preseason Top 55.
